This new equipment will allow us to perform STM break-junction measurements of single-molecule conductance. The group wants to thank Dra. Teresa González Pérez (IMDEA Nanociencia, Madrid) for coming to Granada and for her great job assembling this wonderful instrument.

AVAILABLE POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN ORGANIC SYNTHESIS - UNIVERSIDAD DE GRANADA

The selected candidate will incorporate to the ERC-Starting Grant project nº 677023 'NANOGRAPHOUT' working on the design, synthesis and characterization of the properties of distorted nanographene molecules incorporating non-hexagonal ring defects.

  • November 2015: Dr. Campaña has been awarded with the ERC-Starting Grant to work on the project NANOGRAPHOUT : “Design, synthesis, study and applications of distorted nanographenes”.

  • October 2015: Carlos Moreno joins the group as PhD student. A warm welcome to him!

  • July 2015: One position for undergraduate students to carry out the Final Year Project during the 2015/16 academic year is now being offered in the group. Contact us for further information.
